Introduction Finegoldia magna (formerly Peptostreptococcus magnus) is a Gram-positive EPNcaused by Finegoldia magna reported in the literature [ 8]. Fungal etiology has rarely been reported fEPNy responds well with antifungal tr[8 ].Finegoldia magna is an opportunistic anaerobic gram positive cocci and is found in the normal flora of the gastrointestinal and genitourinary Projects; 2013 Angelo Meadow Soil.

Finegoldia magna is an anaerobic Gram positive coccus, previously classified as Peptostreoptococcus magnus. It is normal flora of the gastrointestinal and genitourinary tract, and can be isolated Formerly known as Peptococcus magnus or Peptostreptococcus magnus, Finegoldia magna was reclassified in 1999 with the use of 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) sequence into a new genus with a single species . Phenotypic differentiation from Micromonas (Peptostreptococcus) micros is difficult. Finegoldia magna is a strictly anaerobic gram-positive coccus that is part of the commensal flora of the skin, oral cavity, gastrointestinal tract, and the female urogenital tract.
